Welcome to St Paul's Web Site

 St Paul’s Church, Gloucester is situated at a busy crossroads on the edge of the city
 centre – we are one mile away from the Cathedral. We are a friendly Anglican church,
 and you will find a warm welcome if you come on a Sunday. We are part of the Church
 of England, in the Diocese of Gloucester, and we have a special calling to this part of
 the City.

 In terms of our church style, we place a lot of emphasis on being open to people of all
 traditions and states, as well as being open to the Spirit and to all God may be calling
 us to do. At the same time, our tradition is important to us and gives us a strong sense
 of identity. So we use the orders of service and prayers that are provided by the Church
 of England. All our worship centre's round the Eucharist (also known as Holy
 Communion). Every Sunday service is a Eucharist and we also have a mid week, very
 informal Eucharist on a Wednesday evening. Our worship is strongly liturgical, but also
 quite informal. We sing a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs.
We hope that you will have a look at our Web Site and we would be very happy to meet
 you at one our services, or if you prefer join one of our group activities.

There would be a warm welcome for you!

                   Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;
                          the old is gone, the new has come. ( 2 Corinthians 5:17)
